Artist: Milja Rossi
Size: 35x50 cm
About the piece
Rossi is currently working on experimenting how flat-film played in a VR-player creates randomized corrupted files. It lets the digital seep into the texture of the image, reminding of itself. She is also interested in letting parts of the creative process be automated. What defines the specific moment of creating ”art”, what defines the auteur? Rossi thinks that to process the same digital material through different machines and to use the machines ”wrong” might be one of the most rebellious creative acts for her.
